Merlin (Myrddin) is one of the most fascinating figures in the Welsh mythology and Arthurian legend. As Wizard, Enchanter, Seer, Prophet, Bard legent tells that he most famously played a pivotal role in the transformation from the Old Faery Ways to the new religion. Some believe that Merlin was the last of the Druids, a Celtic shaman, Priest of nature, and keeper of knowledge, particularly of the arcane secrets. It is said, that he knew how to talk to the animals, where he became known as the Wild Man of the Woods. It is also said that Merlin was a title for this office and not just one man.
